The SNC Lavalin Peer Review provides the following breakdown of expected savings and potential incremental costs for additional operational categories and programs related to the case for closing the FEP/WSF:įinancial Review: Reductions to HRM Solid Waste Budget if FEP and WSF are closed: A summary of key themes that have arisen in the engagement process thus far and the relative weight of each category of feedback is presented in the following Midterm Project Report. Phase 1 of the solid waste strategy review community engagement program consisted of consultations with industry stakeholders, residents of the communities in nearest proximity to the Otter Lake landfill, and members of the general public across all of HRM. You can find the most up to date Q&A below, as well as the list of all the questions you've asked. Some are similar, so we've grouped them together. We've received a lot of questions during our public engagement events and are working on answering them all. All responses will be compiled and packaged for inclusion in the final report. The survey and discussion forums are now closed. Thank you for participating in this process.
